Rental terms
These terms describe how short-term rentals work with Rent Stroller. They are meant as a practical summary; have them reviewed by a qualified adviser if you need legally binding wording for your situation.
Agreement
By sending a rental inquiry or using our equipment after we confirm availability, you agree to these terms unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Who we are
We run a small, local rental service for baby and child equipment (such as strollers, high chairs, and car seats). We rent to parents and caregivers for short periods while they stay in or visit Belgrade.
Booking and confirmation
A booking starts when we confirm dates, item(s), price in euros (EUR), and pickup or delivery in a message to you (email, SMS, or chat). Until then, nothing is guaranteed. Listed prices on the website are examples; the amount we confirm before handover applies.
Rental period
The rental period is the start and end date (or times) we confirm with you. If you need to extend or end early, tell us as soon as you can so we can try to accommodate and adjust the price fairly.
Fees and payment
All quotes are in EUR unless we say otherwise. We explain payment method and timing when we confirm your booking (for example cash on pickup, bank transfer, or another method we both accept).
Pickup and delivery
You can pick up at our address by appointment, or we can deliver within Belgrade where we offer delivery. Any delivery fee depends on your address and timing; we quote it when we know those details. You are responsible for being reachable at the agreed handover time and place.
Deposit and identification
We do not require a security deposit or identity checks for the purpose of holding funds. We may still ask for normal contact details to arrange handover.
Use of equipment
You agree to use the items only as intended, follow manufacturer guidance when available, and keep them in the same condition as received, aside from ordinary use. For car seats, installation, harness fit, and compatibility with your vehicle are your responsibility. We are not responsible for how a seat is installed or whether it is suitable for a particular child or journey.
Cleaning and condition
We clean and inspect items between customers. When you receive equipment, check it and tell us immediately if something looks wrong or damaged so we can record it.
Damage, loss, and late return
You are responsible for loss, theft, or damage beyond normal wear during your rental. We may charge a fair repair or replacement cost in line with what we reasonably agree or, if we cannot agree, according to applicable law. Late return without notice may extend the rental at the agreed daily rate until the item is back.
Cancellations and changes
If your plans change, contact us as soon as possible. We aim to be flexible. For fairness to other families, we may apply a simple rule such as free cancellation or changes up to 24 hours before handover; any different rule will be stated in our confirmation message.
Liability
To the extent allowed by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect losses or loss of profit. Our total liability arising from a rental is limited to the rental fees you paid for that booking unless mandatory law says otherwise. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Privacy
We process personal data as described in our privacy notice.
Changes to these terms
We may update this page from time to time. The version on the site when you book applies unless we expressly agree something different with you.
